      How will you use it?

Lets Claude make and edit images, on your own accounts. A few questions, then only the steps you need.

    2. If you chose Claude Desktop only:
    3. 2

      Install the extension

You need an NVIDIA graphics card (AMD on Linux) or a Mac with Apple silicon.

      1. Download the extension
Open the file: Claude Desktop installs it.
      2. The Comfy-Gen icon appears in the tray (the menu bar on a Mac). Open its settings page from there: it takes you through installing ComfyUI and picking models.
      3. Ask Claude Desktop for an image.

Want claude.ai and your phone too later? Choose the first answer instead, and don't keep both on one PC: they don't fit on one graphics card together.

    4. If you chose claude.ai:

      Where should images be made?

    6. 3

      The accounts you need

Create each account you don't have yet. Then tick its box.

      • A claude.ai account (optional)
Or another AI service that supports MCP tools.
        Open claude.ai
      What does it cost?
      • Cloudflare: free for one person's use. Storage past 10 GB costs $0.015 per GB a month; images are deleted after a year. Cloudflare asks for a card once, to turn storage on.
      • Modal (the cloud): pay per second, only while an image is made. New accounts get $30 free each month, and Modal needs a card on file even for that.
      • Your PC: the electricity.

      Connect Cloudflare

Your Worker is your own copy of Comfy-Gen. It runs in your Cloudflare account, and this page creates it there.

Cloudflare asks you to allow that. Check that the page is on dash.cloudflare.com, choose your account if it asks, and click Allow.

      Connect Cloudflare
      What does it allow?

Creating and updating Workers and storage (R2) in your account, and reading the account's name. This page creates your Worker, then hands the access to it and keeps nothing. Your Worker uses it to install updates by itself. Privacy

      Use another name

Your Worker is ready at https://comfy-gen.<your-subdomain>.workers.dev. Save it as a bookmark.

      Open your Worker

Its page guides you through the rest, one step at a time:

      1. Set a password.
      2. Connect your Modal account.
      3. Install the Comfy-Gen agent on your PC.
      4. Install the Comfy-Gen agent on your PC, then connect your Modal account.
      5. Connect it to claude.ai (or another AI app that supports MCP tools).

      Updates install themselves.
